Kintsugi-Inspired Ceramic Repair Workshop
Mindful making, meaningful repair and a new skill to take home.
Join us for a hands-on ceramic repair workshop inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi — the idea of embracing cracks, celebrating imperfection and giving broken objects a new lease of life.
You’ll begin by deliberately smashing a piece of ceramic before carefully piecing it back together, transforming the broken fragments into something unique. Alternatively, you’re welcome to bring along your own broken ceramic piece to repair.
This is a relaxed and creative experience, offering you the chance to slow down, work with your hands and learn a new skill while exploring the beauty that can come from things being broken and repaired.
£45 per person
All materials included
6 spaces available
No previous experience is needed — just bring yourself, your creativity and, if you wish, a broken ceramic piece with a story to tell.
Please refer to Class Calendar for available dates or if you are interested in different date, please contact [email protected] to discuss that.
You can also hire me to run this workshop if you organise a party, have a larger group or would like it to happen at your venue within Oxford or its surroundings.
