Ceramics Class Booking Policy

We want you to have a relaxed, enjoyable experience at Kina Ceramics. Here are a few useful things to know before booking your class.

Bookings

Our ceramics classes have a maximum of 8 participants, although class sizes may vary depending on the type of class. Places are limited, so advance booking is recommended.

Your place is confirmed once payment has been received. Please check your booking details carefully, including the date and time of your class.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know at least 24 hours before the class starts. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable. We understand that unexpected things happen, so please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll always do our best to help.

Changing Your Booking

If you need to change the date of your class, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. You may reschedule your booking once, subject to availability.

Arriving for Your Class

Please arrive 5 minutes before your class starts so that you can get settled and ready to create.

Late arrivals are welcome, but please be aware that your class will still finish at the scheduled time. Arriving late therefore means you will have less time to create your piece.

Children & Young Participants

Our classes are suitable for participants aged 10 and over. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who remains responsible for them during the class.

Please check the individual class description for any additional age requirements, as these may vary depending on the type of class.

Gift Vouchers

We offer gift vouchers, valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Gift vouchers are refundable to the original purchaser only. They cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded to anyone other than the person who purchased the voucher.

Finished Pieces & Collection

Depending on the class, your ceramic piece may need to be dried, glazed and fired after the session.

Finished pieces are usually ready for collection within 1–3 weeks, depending on the type of class and the firing process. We’ll let you know when your piece is ready to collect.

We keep completed pieces for 3 months from the date they are ready for collection. After this period, uncollected pieces may be disposed of, so please make sure you collect your work within the specified timeframe.

Please remember that ceramics are handmade and fired at high temperatures. Small variations, colour differences, imperfections, cracking or other changes can occasionally occur during the drying and firing process. These are an inherent part of making ceramics and cannot always be predicted or avoided.

Private & Group Bookings

Private and group bookings have different cancellation and rescheduling terms.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a private or group booking, please let us know at least 7 days before the scheduled class.

Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance are eligible for a full refund. Rescheduling requests made at least 7 days in advance can be moved to another available date, subject to availability.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before the booking are non-refundable and cannot normally be rescheduled.

Class Changes & Cancellations by Kina Ceramics

We reserve the right to change or cancel a class if necessary. If we need to cancel your class, we will offer you a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to another suitable class.

If a class does not reach the minimum number of participants required to run, we may need to reschedule it. We’ll contact you as soon as possible if this happens.

What to Wear

Ceramics can be messy! We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little clay or glaze on.
