Yerba Mate Cup with Spikes

This yerba mate mug is covered with tiny spikes individually applied by hand. They not only insulate your hands from direct heat but also can give you a refreshing massage when you gently roll the mug between your hands.

It is handmade of stoneware. In this version, I have decorated it with effective glaze that looks like rusted metal in some areas and in others are shiny and sparkly. The colour range is from dark steel matte to light glossy brown. This makes each cup different and unique.

Its spherical shape is to keep the heat and steep tea leaves to perfection. You will love the generous size of this gourd.  

The capacity is 450ml/15.8 fl oz. It is approx 10.5cm/4" high and the opening is 4.5cm/1.7" wide.

Handwash recommended; do not use in microwave.
